Ruma's Shipping costs

We at Ruma's pride ourselves with prompt delivery service.

After your order is placed, each basket is hand-crafted and then shipped Monday – Friday or on the desired ship date.

If you place your order before 2 pm EST, it will ship the same day. Orders placed after 2 pm EST (Monday-Friday) will ship the next day. Please check our delivery map below for estimated delivery times.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship the following Monday or the day you selected.

Ground
Ruma's ships gift baskets nationwide from our facility in the Boston area. The majority of our gift baskets are shipped via UPS and you will receive a tracking number so that you can check the progress of your gift.

2 Day Express and Standard Overnight Express
To ensure freshness, perishable fruit baskets or fruit and gourmet baskets sent to the following states will be automatically upgraded to 3 Day Ground delivery:

Please use our delivery map to determine when your basket will arrive. The day after you place your order is counted as the first day of delivery.

Pertinent information for all orders:
  • Recipient's full name

  • Recipient's complete address with zip code

  • Recipient's phone number (will not be used by Ruma's for any marketing purpose; we will attempt to contact the recipient if we cannot find the address or have difficulty delivering your gift)

  • Gift message

Ruma's is not responsible for orders missing pertinent information (see above), a recipient who has transferred from a company, a recipient who has been discharged from hospital, or for company or school closings and/or all weather related incidents. We are not responsible for wrong or incomplete addresses; re-ship charges apply. All merchandise is subject to inventory availability. Ruma’s reserves the right to substitute products of equal or greater value when needed.

Recipient Refusal
If a basket is refused at delivery and is not damaged, we will refund your money when the gift is returned to us by UPS. If the basket is returned and damaged, we cannot refund your money.

Holiday Deliveries
During the December holiday rush, we cannot guarantee a specific day/date of delivery. Rather, please indicate which week you would like your gift basket delivered. We will do our best to accommodate your delivery date. Due to the large volume of orders, we cannot guarantee a date of delivery.

We recommend that you order early and that you specify the week of delivery. Choosing the week of Christmas may delay your basket delivery until after Christmas due to UPS and FedEx demands and/or weather conditions.

California Orders
Due to state regulations, fruit cannot be shipped to California. Please see our selection of Gourmet Baskets for some alternative gift ideas.

Wine Orders
Due to state regulations, wine cannot be shipped to Maryland, Utah, Kentucky and Tennessee. Please see our selection of Gourmet Baskets for some alternative gift ideas.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
