How do I track my order?

When your gift ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can track your gift from that email.

You can also enter order information here to track your gift.

Note: deliveries shipped via USPS to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada and APO/AFO addresses cannot be tracked. Expect extra time in transit for these orders. Please contact us at sales@rumasfruit.com if you have questions. top


How do I figure out when my gift will arrive?

At Ruma’s, each gift basket is made when you order. We'll ship it that day, or the day that you choose on the shipping calendar at checkout. Be sure to check the "Shipping and Delivery Tab" for the specific item that you want to ship. But here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Orders placed before 2 pm EST (M-Th): order will most likely ship the same day.

  • Orders places after 2 pm EST (M-Th): order will not be shipped until the following business day.

  • Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday: order will be processed the next business day (usually Monday).

  • Gifts contains fruit and/or chocolate: To ensure freshness, Ruma's will ship the gift so that it is in transit for the fewest days possible. For example, orders with fruit placed on a Thursday or Friday may not ship until Monday, to prevent the fruit from sitting in the Fed Ex/UPS warehouse over the weekend. (Saturday delivery not available in all areas).

  • Please check our delivery map for estimated delivery times.

We realize shipping can be tricky, so we have a sample situation here. (However, if you are still unsure of when to ship your gift, just cal us at 800-252-8282 or send us an instant message (click on the green box above to the left) and we'll help you out!)

Example:
  • Look at the delivery map and find the state where you'd like to deliver the gift. How many days is that state? Let's say your delivery state is green, so it's a 3-day zone from Boston, MA.

  • Place your order before 2 pm EST* (Monday through Friday); this is Day Zero.

  • Day One: the first business day after Day Zero.

  • Example: an order placed on Tuesday, 11 am EST will ship that day. Tuesday (order day) is Day Zero.

  • Day One: Wednesday.

  • Day Two: Thursday.

  • Day Three: Friday.

  • If shipping to a 4-day zone, this would arrive on Monday. (Saturdays and Sundays are not delivery days).

I want to order a large amount of baskets. Can I email the order?

Here are a few things to keep in mind: Our online shopping cart allows you to enter up to 25 orders with different addresses. If you would like to order more than 25 baskets, please refer to our Quick Ordering System.

Where is the gift message? How do I know who sent this gift to me?

The gift message is located in a clear pouch on the outside of the shipping box . top


Will Fed Ex or UPS leave my gift or will they wait for a signature?

As a general rule, we do not call the recipient prior to delivery. Signatures are not generally required for delivery. As a general rule Fed Ex/UPS drivers will leave a gift in a "safe, protected place." However, it is at the driver's discretion not to leave a package when he or she does not feel the package will be safe. Three delivery attempts are made before the package is returned to us. Reship charges apply as needed. top

Do you contact me to confirm delivery?

When your gift ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can track your gift from that email. We do not contact you to confirm delivery. top


Do you offer discounts?

Discounts are calculated before shipping costs. Discounts do not apply to custom orders. Discounts offered:

Orders between $500 - $2499.99: receive a 5% discount

Orders between $2500 - $4999.99: receive a 8% discount

Orders over $5000: receive a 10% discount

How do I unsubscribe from Ruma's email promotions?

The option to unsubscribe to our emails is located at the bottom of each email promotion.

You may also email us at sales@rumasfruit.com to remove your email address.

How do I remove myself from your mailing list?

We send catalogs to customers who have ordered from us and to recipients of our gift baskets. To be removed from our mailing list, simply call or email sales@rumasfruit.com with your name and address.

Can you send me a catalog?

Yes, we will send you a catalog as soon as possible. Please visit our Request a Catalog page.  page. We also offer our most recent catalog in PDF form. You may also download the PDF version of the Ruma’s catalog by clicking the picture.

Do you ship on Saturdays?

We do not ship from our warehouse on Saturdays. Saturday delivery is available in select areas.  Please contact us to see if we can make a Saturday delivery.

Do you ship on Sundays?

No, we do not ship or deliver on Sundays.

Do you ship baskets internationally?

No, at this time, we do not ship internationally. Gifts without fruit or wine can be shipped to Canada. We also ship to APO and AFO addresses.

What are your retail shop hours?

Retail Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 8 am – 12 pm *please call first if you are coming to the shop*
Sunday: Closed
During the holiday rush in December, we have extended hours in the evenings and on weekends
