When will my gift ship from Ruma's?
After your gift basket is created, we will likely ship your gift that day (if your order was received before 2 pm EST) and the first day for delivery is the following business day.
Note: orders received after 2 pm EST will ship the next business day. For example, an order placed at 5pm EST on a Tuesday will be created and ship on Wednesday. The first day for delivery is Thursday.
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship the following Monday (or the day you selected).
When will my gift arrive to my recipient?
The first business day after you place your order is counted as the first day of delivery. When calculating arrival date, do not count Saturdays or Sundays. (For example, if you order on Monday before 2pm EST, then the first day to count for delivery is Tuesday).
Unfortunately, we do not have control over the amount of days in transit for deliveries to AK, HI and Puerto Rico. Please allow more time for delivery, at times up to 3-4 weeks. We cannot guarantee a specific day/date of delivery for items to AK, HI and Puerto Rico and unfortunately, tracking information is not always available.
Shipping to Canada
During December, at least one week is needed for shipment to Canada; unfortunately, we do not have control over the amount of days in transit for items to Canada. Orders containing fresh fruit will be fulfilled by our Canadian affiliates. Please allow extra time for delivery.
Christmas Deliveries
During the December holiday rush, Ruma's cannot guarantee a specific day/date of delivery. Rather, please indicate the week you would like your gift basket delivered (week of 12/3, week of 12/10, week of 12/17). We will do our best to accommodate your delivery date. Expect extra days in transit.
Christmas 2012 falls on Tuesday. Ruma's does not deliver on Sundays. Ruma's has limited home delivery on Saturdays. Please note that additional days are needed for delivery at this time of year. Choosing to deliver the week before Christmas (week of 12/17/12) will likely delay your basket delivery until after Christmas due to UPS and FedEx demands and/or weather conditions. We recommend that you order early and that you specify the week of 12/03 or the week of 12/10 or earlier for delivery.
Recipient Refusal
If a basket is refused at delivery and is not damaged, we will refund your money when the gift is returned to us by UPS/Fed Ex. If the basket is returned and damaged, we cannot refund your money.

Military mom serving overseas loved it!by Island Amy (St. George Island )I sent this gift basket to my mom who is serving in the US military in Germany. A small American flag was included and she was so tickled with that little touch. Ruma's truly supports our soldiers overseas and is one of only a few companies who will ship to APO/FPO addresses.
